Help with the running of newly established community interest company, helping remove barriers to cycling and making cycling accessible to all by risk assessing and leading cycle rides for individuals with varying ability. What level of commitment is required for this role? Volunteer Cycle Ride Leaders are required for about 2-3 hours each week (or as previously agreed with Project Co-ordinator). Volunteers are required to familiarise themselves with the route and carry out health and safety checks prior to rides. We ask that volunteer Cycle Ride Leaders commit to one cycle ride programme/block of sessions; generally a programme is 6 weeks. Holidays and other commitments can be covered and volunteers are asked to give the Project Co-ordinator as much notice as possible.
