British Wireless for the Blind

British Wireless for the Blind Fund has been providing specially adapted radios to sight impaired people for more than 80 years. British Wireless for the Blind Fund exists to help improve the daily lives of sight impaired people, who are unable to afford a specially adapted radio, by providing the equipment on free loan.

Current opportunities

We are looking for people to help us give out and demonstrate our sets to recipients in their local area. This role involves visiting blind and partially sighted people in their homes, installing their new radio and teaching them how to use it as well as providing ongoing support where needed. This role also involves a small amount of admin.
