An interest in natural history, rural living, traditions in the glens, arts and crafts, country sports, the natural world or local folklore would be a great help. Training will be provided.

Here at Glenesk Folk Museum, we have a new Chef who is extending our hot food menu for the coming season. If you would like to get some practical catering experience, both in the kitchen and serving customers in our Cafe, we would love to hear from you.

Our collection at Glenesk Folk Museum has been amassed over almost 70 years. It now requires an updated inventory. This means undertaking a stock take of all our objects, ensuring the records we hold on them are correctly updated and that we can locate objects easily within our stores. If you enjoy detail conscious work, are a good team worker and can cope with the repetitive nature of this type of work in a Museum store environment, we would love to hear from you.
