REACH Lanarkshire Autism

REACH were established to bridge the inequalities across Lanarkshire, to provide support to families who have a young person with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The aims of the charity are:

  • To relieve those in need, by providing ASD services of support and guidance both emotional and practical to individuals and their families.
  • To promote the advancement of education by raising awareness of the condition to the families living with ASD and to the local and wider community.
  • To provide activities and therapeutic interventions which support the social and emotional development of children and young adults living with an ASD.
  • To provide education and self awareness to individuals with an ASD, their families and those who come into their contact with the purpose of empowering and including those individuals

REACH are always in the process of setting up new activities. Information will be posted to the REACH website once they are up and running. Activities which run are Youth Groups, Family Support, Football, Teen Groups, Peer Support, Cinema Clubs, Sensory Garden, Swimming Lessons.


Current opportunity

Volunteers would support our Sessional Staff at activities for our young people who have autism. Our volunteers would help within a diverse range of activities including swimming, youth/teen groups, sports and toddler groups ages ranging from 0-16.
