Re-Discover Dundee (DVVA)

Re-Discover Dundee is a cycling community project managed by Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action (DVVA) which aims to encourage people of all ages and abilities to engage in cycling and promote positive health and well-being. The project has a fleet of 12 electric trikes and 5 electric bikes and 1 trailer, and offers registered participants the opportunity to join a 12-week programme of support, including eight 1-2-1 cycle sessions, four group cycles as well as special cycle events exploring the city’s green networks.

Current opportunity

The ReDiscover Dundee Cycle Project aims to encourage people to take up cycling as a method of maintaining health and wellbeing. We have a fleet of electric trikes and bikes which can be hired and used for free. We provide basic bike handling sessions building essential cycling skills, either 1 to 1 or in a small group, and slowly develop the skills and fitness levels to go for group cycles. At the moment the bikes are stored at the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Change Centre, South Road, and the Waterfront.
