Glenrothes FC is a local football team who play semi-professional in the East of Scotland League. Within the club there is a first team and an Under 20s team who both play out of Warout Stadium. Glenrothes FC have the long term lease for Warout Stadium and the connected playing fields and can therefore offer a Community Hub for social interaction before, during or after matches as well as allowing local community clubs to use the facilities and the general public can hire the facilities for functions. The youth system The Young Glens is ran completely seperately with over 270 children on the books however is supported by Glenrothes FC in terms of facilites and guidance.

Volunteers are recognised as the backbone of grassroots football across the country and at Glenrothes FC this is no different. In order to continue to make football, and associated activities, accessible to the community of Glenrothes, Glenrothes FC are looking for a Kit person. The main duties will involve; ensuring strips are clean and ready for match days and set out in the changing room, collection of dirty kit after the match and ensuring kits are washed, dried and returned to the stadium ready for the next match. This position would be ideal for a football enthusiast, current Glenrothes FC supporter or local individual looking to improve their skills and update their CV.

Main duties to be carried out by the Catering Assistant is to support the catering operation on match days. This could either be preparing hot food within the Catering Hut or preparing food (normally sandwiches) for hospitality.

This volunteer position would be ideal for a football enthusiast, current Glenrothes FC supporter or a local individual who is looking to become involved in their community. Main duties to be carried out by the ground maintenance volunteer will be, light gardening, general DIY, tidying, general repairs and upkeep of the pitch and stands.
