Transition Dundee

We are a community-led social enterprise which aims to make Dundee a more sustainable, healthier and happier place to live through various climate focussed projects. Many people are aware of the threats that climate change poses - but we are here to show there is hope, there are lots of things we can do to tackle it together and to make sure nobody is left behind in the transition to a more sustainable future.

Current opportunities

Duties include: giving out surplus food to our visitors and keeping the fridge clean and tidy. Ideally volunteers will do the same shift each week. There will always be two volunteers on each shift. We are also looking for a driver volunteer on a Tuesday morning to pick up surplus food from 3 supermarkets. This must be done in their own car between 9am-11am. If you are interested in volunteering, please email hello@transitiondundee.com or visit the Volunteer section of our website: http://www.transitiondundee.com/volunteer

The Wardrobe is a secondhand clothing shop where we prevent clothing waste, hold workshops and carry out clothing repairs. Duties include: working on the shop floor, serving customers at the till and sorting through clothing donations.
