Current opportunity

Friockheim Community Hub is an established local Community Centre which opened in January 2019. The Hub plays a vital role in providing essential community facilities improving the well-being of residents and individuals struggling with a range of challenges in the current climate. It is a registered charity operated as a Company Limited by guarantee, meaning that there is no financial commitment nor liability for any individual wishing to become a trustee. The board of directors of the company are also trustees of the charity. We are looking for trustees to help us continue the work which we do. You would join us at an exciting time for the hub. With restrictions lifted and an ever-increasing demand for our services we are looking to add experienced members of the public to our board, to help us face the challenges in our community. We are particularly keen to recruit members of the local Friockheim and district community and those who have skills in the following areas: marketing, fundraising, financial control and HR. However, these are not exclusive, and we would welcome the opportunity to speak to any individuals who feel they can add value to the board and community. We are also particularly keen to involve younger members of the community to complement our board structure. To find out more, please contact the office on 01241 829214 or email mike@friockhub.co.uk .
