We offer services to anyone who:

· is living in Forth Valley
· is aged 16 years or over
· has a substance misuse problem or is affected by someone else’s
· wants to change their substance misuse problem
· wants to change someone else’s substance misuse problem

We also offer counselling services for anyone who is affected by gambling problems.

Service users can refer themselves.

We accept referrals from any organisation, service or professional who encounters someone who is affected by a substance misuse problem. In making a referral we would ask that the referring agent gives as much information as possible about the person’s readiness and commitment to engage with our services.


Current opportunity

Forth Valley Recovery Community (FVRC) are running a national recovery Olympics, inviting recovery communities and partners from around Scotland to take part in a sports day themed day. To run the event, they need volunteers to make sure that this day happens and is a great success. ABOUT FVRC Established in 2016 FVRC provides safe, drug and alcohol free events to help you build and develop your recovery. FVRC ask all those attending events to come along drug and alcohol free on the day. They are an inclusive and non-judgemental community committed to empowering people in recovery. FVRC is all about making recovery accessible to everybody in Forth Valley who has experienced substance dependency ABOUT THE ROLE You will work along side staff from Active Stirling and FVRC, and you will be given a task for the day i.e. marshalling races, team registration, score taking, score counting or general well being volunteers. Please note this will be an all day event. Training and support will be given prior to the event starting and support will be given throughout. Volunteers will need to be at the event for 9.30am.
