Friockhem Park Community Volunteers is a local community group who in partnership with Angus Council and Partners, maintain Friockhem Park, Friockhem Public Toilets and the wider Friockhem Village.
We are run by volunteers and rely on donations and grant to carry out the good work we do.

Can You Assist Us With:
Cleaning Play Equipment, Litter Picking, Gardening, Painting, Light Construction, Photography At The Park, Educating The Public About The Environment Including Speaking In Schools, Assisting At Our Clean Up Meeting Point Lock Up Or Even Helping Us Online With Our Website & Our Facebook Page.

We are looking for committee members to join our group, there is no requirement of in person physical volunteering, all that would be required is a hour a week of “Admin” you would be listed on the group’s constitution and help in the formation & background operations of the group. Suited to anyone with a hour to spare to assist the community.
As Part Of The Angus Council October Holiday Programme , We Are Looking For Additional Volunteers During The Angus School Holidays (October 2023)
Friockheim Park Community Volunteers Are Offering Stay & Play Sessions
At All These Sessions We Will Be Providing Hot/Cold Drinks & Basic Refreshments To Both Children & Adults.
You Will Be Part Of A Team Of Volunteers Running Each Session Which Will Be Held On A Variety Of Days Throughout The Holidays,
An Enhanced PVG Will Be Required For This Role.

Friockheim Park Community Volunteers Have Been Successful In Getting Trees From The Woodland Trust For Planting In & Around Friockheim:
Small Hedge (30 saplings)
Medium Wildlife (105 saplings)
Large Wildlife (420 saplings)
This Will Be A Massive Undertaking & Require Some Extra Help Planting All These Trees!
Tree Delivery Will Be In November 2023, Planting Will Take Place Between Then & March.
