(RVS) Fife Community Transport

Charity registered in Scotland SC038924

The RVS will transport and assist older people, who are unable to use public transport, to attend various private appointments. Our volunteers will use their own cars and receive a mileage allowance to cover all expenses. We will transport our clients to wherever they need to go assuming we have a volunteer willing to do so.

This role will let you meet new people and support them to get out and about. You'll gain knowledge about your local community and can volunteer in your own time. Drivers use local council vehicles to provide a friendly journey and support people to and from their home and destination. Your role will involve elements of lone working and building a relationship with those you transport. There are also opportunities available for people with specific skills, so please tell RVS what your strengths are when you meet. As a minibus driver you are required to have a D1 on your licence and you will be required to attend MiDAS training and refreshers at our expense.
