Narture Ayr

Narture CIC is an artist collective baking real bread and food/drinks from scratch to earn the dough to fund arts projects. We aim to use creativity to reanimate the historic quarter of Ayr, driven by experiential retail and cultural tourism. Our core objective is to provide community benefits by developing income sources, primarily through food and drinks and socially engaged arts. Being a community interest company, we value volunteering for the people contributing back to their communities but also through the people who would like to develop their own skills.

Current opportunities

As a community interest company we value volunteers and their support really means a lot to us. We are looking for General Volunteers to help us in the day to day running of our organisation and other volunteers to help us out in different projects. Any skill or interest you might have, might be suitable for one of our many projects - whether it is painting, decorating, shifting/sorting/organising through stuff, clearing up, creative skills, practical skills, all manner and form of skills appreciated. A passion for food and arts would certainly be an asset. In exchange for your time and energy volunteering with us, we can offer the opportunity to improve employability skills, fulfill your volunteering hours for Saltire Awards/Duke of Edinburgh or your company's corporate social responsibility. You can improve your customer service skills and we can even provide you with a character reference if you have volunteered with us for a number of months.

We are seeking to appoint a Volunteer Coordinator to work alongside the core group. This is an important role for us as the volunteer coordinator would support us across all of our activities. The coordinator will support in recruiting and managing suitable volunteers for various support positions needed in the organization. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and flexible leader and able to seek out opportunities. A passion for food and arts would certainly be an asset.
