Foot Care Assistant

Description

We are looking for a volunteer to provide toe-nail clipping and general foot care advice to people in a community setting. Volunteers will be working alongside the NHS podiatry team, they will be trained and supervised for a period before working with clients of the service. The podiatry team will deliver a short training course to volunteers and a certificate will be issued on successful completion.

Organisation aims and objectives

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of West Dunbartonshire and in particular the advancement of education, the furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress by the promotion of the voluntary sector within the area so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants may be improved.
