Forth Valley Disability Sport is a local charity based in Stirling who provide sporting opportunities to children, young people and adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. We operate throughout the Forth Valley area.

One day event in a range of Sports throughout the year. Your responsibilities will include –

• Helping groups of participants to achieve the aims of the event, either practicing skills or playing a game.
• Organising and supervising to ensuring the area and participants are safe.
• Completing a register of those attending along with details of any particular needs and emergency information.
• Being aware of any particular needs of the participants (i.e. level of fitness, medical conditions, physical, learning or sensory disabilities).
• Following policy and procedures of Forth Valley Disability Sport including accident reporting, health and safety.

Restrictions

Experience required: - A positive and enthusiastic attitude - Reliability and good communication - Previous experience in working with children & adults with physical, sensory & learning disabilities is desirable however support and training is given.
Travel details: Forth Valley wide; Clackmannanshire, Falkirk & Stirling. Volunteers are asked to make their own way to events and sessions- travel expenses paid when travel time increases out of volunteers local
