Description

Picking up and deliveries of donations (furniture) generally in the Letham area. Every 2nd Monday from 10am to around 2pm (this could be longer or shorter, but never past 3pm)

Our donations support the community to obtain goods at very low cost, sustain tenancies and promote stability. Many of our customers allocated houses have no means to furnish them. Using recycled goods, we can support them to do this and make their house a home.

We have a very good group of volunteers here, very welcoming and easy to get along with.
Volunteers are in control of their own hours and very much valued here.

Organisation aims and objectives

Our project promotes the reduction of waste in the community by encouraging residents to reuse household items by swapping them in our Swap Shop

Experience required: No skills needed apart from the ability to lift heavy items.
