Description

Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust is responsible for preserving and maintaining Kirkcaldy Old Kirk as a community venue, heritage centre and community music hub. A front of house volunteer is required to provide excellent service to customers and performers attending theatrical and musical performances and concerts.

Volunteers can be involved with:

  • Welcoming and engaging with visitors and performers

  • Ensuring performers have access to what they require prior to the performance

  • Checking tickets and showing visitors to their seats

  • Selling programmes and refreshments at the interval

  • Providing guidance on audio and sound systems to performers during rehearsals and performances (training will be provided)

If you would like to learn more about local heritage, meet new people, inspire others and observe performances whilst volunteering this could be the role for you.
