Description

Aberdeen Carers Support Service (Quarriers) are looking for Volunteers to help for an hour or two per week at our adult carer support groups. We have various groups running across Aberdeen city, where carers and the people they care for can meet up for friendship and support. Aberdeen Carers Support Services supports unpaid adult carers.

If you are friendly and outgoing and have an hour or two a week to spare, we would love to hear from you.

Organisation aims and objectives

Quarriers is one of Scotland’s leading social care charities, working alongside thousands of people through more than 100 services in Scotland. We support unpaid carers with services in Moray, Aberdeen City, Dumfries and Galloway, and North West Glasgow. Quarriers provides support that transforms lives every day, but we want to do more.

Frequency and commitment details

To help for an hour or two per week. Flexible times available to help. All volunteers make a real difference and are greatly appreciated.

Restrictions

Experience required: If you are friendly and outgoing and have an hour or two a week to spare.
Travel details: Aberdeen City
Minimum age: 18

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: All agreed expenses are reimbursed.
Training details: Relevant guidance, training and excellent support is provided to all volunteers.
