Description

Join a Fife-wide charity to support and develop the effective governance of the organisation.
Thier key aim is to listen, provide people with a voice and respond to need by helping people to identify and access the services and resources which help them to remain independent and healthier for as long as is practicable, alongside encouraging people to utilise their own strengths and assets to help improve their circumstances and well-being.
As a Board Member you will have a key role in strategic decision-making, ensuring good governance and will be required to carry out your duties in line with legal responsibilities.

Restrictions

Experience required: Applicants are expected to be good ambassadors for the organisation and work within the parameters of good governance and the law; they should be inclusive and adopt a non-discriminatory approach. It would be beneficial if applicants have a background in HR, financial management, advocacy (collective and issue based), governance, and community activism.
Minimum age: 16

Training details: An induction process involves issuing a Governance Brief with a role description and signposting to information and organisations including those which provide training relevant to the role.
