Description

Heartstart provide free Emergency Life Support skills to members of the public within Ayrshire. We are looking to recruit new members for our Board. The Board help manage and support the aims of Heartstart. Candidates with a background in administration, accountancy/bookkeeping, quality assurance, or HR experience would be most welcome to join.

Frequency and commitment details

We meet quarterly, however the experience mentioned above is often required to support and manage the administration of the scheme.

Restrictions

Experience required: Candidates with a background in administration, accountancy/bookkeeping, quality assurance, or HR experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
Travel details: Board meetings are usually held within Ayr Hospital.
Minimum age: 18

They aim to use public greenspace to benefit and protect the wellbeing, health, recreation and leisure of the community, while also providing education, training and volunteering opportunities. Following a very successful International Street Food festival last year we are launching a new Community Interest Company to make this an annual event. We want to demonstrate how much our area benefits from having people of different backgrounds and cultures enrich our society. The festival is a mix of community groups whom we help to take part and commercial enterprises who pay for their stalls.
