"We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraiser
Do you love socialising and meeting new people in your area? You can get involved as a volunteer fundraiser at a range of different events, give as much or as little time as you have to help spread the word about our important work.
The Role:
• Organise and run local fundraising events
• Support other team members with fun local events
• Help at events, including event set up and post-event clear-up
• Help to raise awareness of the charity
• Attend regular group meetings in person or virtually to discuss ideas and give updates on events and fundraising activities
• Help at meetings by sometimes chairing and taking minutes.
• Meet and correspond with local organisations and businesses to support the events
• Help to promote events locally through a variety of online and offline networks
• Keep accurate records of expenditure and fundraising money for reporting

Organisation aims and objectives

The aims of CLASP are the relief of poverty and advancement of education. The charity’s objectives are: To develop a community managed and run sustainable project in the Stevenston area but serving the North Ayrshire area. To encourage a more empowered, informed and socially active community through community capacity building and active citizenship training and activities. To support and facilitate individual and group activity on issues relating to social inclusion. To provide a local base for information, advice, assistance and resources on issues such as poverty, health, unemployment, money advice, literacies and local training opportunities in partnership with other voluntary and statutory organisations. To recruit and train local volunteers in the above activities offering, where possible, recognised accredited opportunities in partnership with training and education providers. Restrictions

Experience required: You will have a proven record of fund raising in the past or a deep desire to be a part of our fundraising team
Minimum age: 18
