Description

East Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau has an exciting opportunity for people within the East Renfrewshire community.

If you are aged between 15 years 8 months and 66 years old and would like to make an impact in your community; possess empathy and have a desire to help others; are wanting to increase your skills or improve your CV to better your career prospects; would like an introduction to the world of employment or would like to meet new people and expand your contacts this could be the role for you.

Our volunteering roles will focus on your needs and the needs of the bureau. You could be answering telephone calls, meeting with the public, performing administration tasks, typing letters, inputting to our highly confidential enquiry system and giving sound advice.

Organisation aims and objectives

Provides general advice and information to all sectors of the community. To ensure individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their basic rights and responsibilities, and to influence policy and decision makers. New Advisors Course starts in August 2009
