Description

Encouraging and friendly supporters who can listen and mingle, needed for two hours for Tagsa Ceilidh's. The ceilidh's feature beautiful live music with well known classics and popular hits with the opportunity to join together in song or to just listen and sip your tea. They are an opportunity for people to come together and the supporter ensures that people have a friendly welcome and conversation. Basic help making and serving tea as needed. Held monthly on average at different locations across the islands.

Organisation aims and objectives

To enable carers and clients to have regular breaks; to provide respite care to those with acute illnesses, their carers and families; to support vulnerable people living alone; to provide a high quality service for people with dementia; to work with people who provide support care

Restrictions

Travel details: Tagsa runs a mini bus service with multiple picks up that could also be used by volunteers.
