Description

Do you want to take part in vegan volunteering around your local area?
The key focus of the Vegan Society is to raise the profile of veganism and each year the Vegan Society help more and
more people to go vegan and stay vegan.
Our network of committed local vegans across the country is growing! The Vegan Society organises various outreach
activities to influence change in every level of society. There are a range of activities going on all the time, from
general educational stalls at events to meetings with local policy influencers.
Advocates are a crucial voice in their own community. They ensure that our campaign messages are spread far and
wide. They provide a strong vegan presence in local communities.

Organisation aims and objectives

We're working tirelessly to make veganism an easily-adopted and widely-recognised approach to reducing animal suffering and environmental damage. We do so through peaceful and factual dialogue with individuals, organisations and businesses. We achieve this vision and mission by providing information, supporting and advising individuals and h ealth professionals, caterers, manufacturers, and influencing policy makers. We also fund vegan i nitiatives set up by members and supporters, and work with volunteers and partners towards making our vision a reality. We work with the media to help reinforce a positive view of veganism and to help a larger audience see that veganism is a rewarding, enjoyable and viable lifestyle.
