Description

Citizen's Advice Bureau - Denny and Dunipace are currently looking to recruit individuals who would like to contribute to their local community by joining our Board of Trustees.
They are seeking team players who have strategic vision, independent judgement, a willingness to give time and commitment to help support and develop the organisation. They are particularly interested in hearing from people with knowledge and experience in: HR, Fundraising, Digital Marketing/Communications, Governance, Climate Change, Public and/or Third Sector Organisations.
Applicants will have the experience and skills to ensure that the charity continues to develop and provide high-quality long-term services. As a Trustee, you will be required to ensure to the good governance of the organisation which will involve attendance at board meetings and an annual AGM, alongside participation in working project groups and sub committees.
As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction and governance of the organisation. Your insights, expertise, and decision-making will directly influence the overall impact and effectiveness of our work.
In return, you will have the chance to develop your skills in leadership and governance, strategic thinking, financial management and decision making.
Our Meetings are held on a Wednesday evening and still take place online over Teams due to other Trustee commitments.

Frequency and commitment details

Our Meetings are held on a Wednesday evening and still take place over teams meeting due to other Trustee commitments

Restrictions

Experience required: Ability to think strategically and creatively. Participate actively in discussion and decision-making processes. Balance independence of thought and contribution with participation in collective decision-making.
Travel details: The office is located at 24 Duke St, Denny FK6 6DD, although travel is not required for the role at the moment as meetings are held online.
Minimum age: 18

Expenses details: Travel expenses are reimbursed. Mileage rate is 45p per mile.
