Our project is to create one of Scotland’s largest murals through the Alloway Railway Tunnel. We want to transform an old, dilapidated tunnel that has been defaced with graffiti into a safe, inspiring place, with a beautiful hand painted mural by one of the UK’s top muralists and visionaries. Main duties: Attend and take minutes of trustee meeting (once a month – usually on a Thursday morning) Take minutes of artists meeting – evening meeting on MS Teams - once a month Type up and circulate minutes to all trustees Type up an action tracker Prepare meeting agendas Assist with bookings for events Assist with other admin tasks as directed by Secretary of ART to support marketing and events

Role Title: Trustee/Treasurer Role description of volunteering opportunity: The Club runs its own powerchair football training sessions on Tuesdays between 7pm and 10pm at the Citadel in Ayr. Sessions specifically designed for wheelchair users across the Ayrshire region. Ayrshire Tigers PFC is a community-based Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) based in Ayr which works in partnership with the Scottish Powerchair Football Association (SPFA) to provide equal opportunities for powerchair users in Ayrshire to engage in team sport. The Club is an independent organisation run by its own board of trustees which is elected by its members. The club is focused on providing opportunities to play, coach and support powerchair football and is open to everyone. The team is currently playing in the Scottish Powerchair Football Championship. The Club was formed to benefit wheelchair users living in Ayrshire to engage in team sport and prevent isolation by offering a place for people to come and feel welcome, have fun and be part of a team. The committee meets once every three months for two hours. If you are new to community work, support and training will be provided. A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential. Management Committee Member Save By The Bell (SBTB) is a school-based project which aims to provide financial education to pupils and to complement financial inclusion initiatives within the city of Dundee. We aim to encourage children and young people to develop a regular savings habit which can be sustained during their adult life. We are currently looking for volunteers to serve on our Management Committee which oversees the business operations of SBTB - setting priorities in the use of staff and other resources. The management committee meets quarterly to review the latest financial results and address any queries or issues that have been raised. We are looking for individuals with an interest in the aims of Save By The Bell, which are to give young people in Dundee the opportunity to learn about saving and help them gain an understanding of how money works. Financial education is a top priority for Save By The Bell and it is the role of the management committee to help the charity achieve this objective. Expectations are that there will be at least five meetings per year, made up of four quarterly review meetings and an AGM held in May/June. All applicants will be considered as we believe a management committee with a diverse mix of skills and experience will best serve the charity.
