Description

We are looking for volunteers who have a positive attitude and can make some noise! You will represent MDUK with great people skills and endless enthusiasm to help the Kiltwalkers complete their challenge.

Specific tasks may include:

Supporting participants with cheering and encouragement.
Working with a team to make as much noise as you can.
Representing Muscular Dystrophy UK with a positive attitude and top knotch people skills.

The ability to work well with staff and other volunteers as part of a team.

Organisation aims and objectives

Muscular Dystrophy UK (previously known as the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign) was founded in 1959 and is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to fight muscle-wasting conditions. We bring together more than 60 rare and very rare progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions affecting around 110,000 children and adults in the UK.

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Payment of out of pocket expenses will be agreed in advance. Mileage of 45p per mile can be paid for distances travelled to attend events, full guidance will be given during volunteer induction.
Training details: Support from volunteer coordinator and team on the day with instructions.
