New Trustees Wanted!

Books Abroad SCIO is looking for new Board members.

Books Abroad is a registered charity, based in Rhynie, promotes literacy, education and understanding to provide a means for a sustainable escape from the plight of poverty, since 1982.

Is that you, or someone you know? Please get in touch.

Our Board usually meets 6/8 times a year which will be a combination of zoom and in person out of office hours.

We have delivered over 4,000,000 books to around 4,000 schools and organisations worldwide. We are also doing various local events to share and promote books.

Books Abroad aims to further the cause of literacy in developing countries by sending small parcels of carefully chosen new and secondhand books to schools abroad.
