Restrictions

We would welcome young people getting involved, as well as those with additional support needs, as long as there is an adult volunteer working with them who could offer any support needed.
Experience required: We are looking for people who have a knowledge and interest in gardening, and who have good communication skills. An interest in sustainability and promoting healthy living would also be useful.

Support

Training details: All volunteers will be involved in the planning of the Seed Library from the start, as this is a new venture. Library staff will be on hand to provide support to any volunteers and will work through procedures and practices on a regular basis. Communication with volunteers will be ongoing throughout.
