Description
• Create a positive volunteering environment by agreeing how team tasks will be
split between the team, considering individual’s skills, interest and availability;
adapting team activities and tasks to be accessible to everyone and following
safety and safeguarding procedures
• Promote learning and networking opportunities across your Team and the District
• Ensure appropriate recruitment is being undertaken for own team, and across the
District and its Groups
• Regularly review team and individual team members in line with The Scouts
Policies
• Ensure team are performing compliance monitoring tasks correctly, escalating
unresolved issues to the District Lead Volunteer

Frequency and commitment details
Volunteering within this role is flexible and can work around your other commitments. Any meetings that are planned will be circulated well in advance. Any meetings you organise can work around your other commitments.

Travel details: Our main HQ is Keptie Scout Centre, Keptie Road Arbroath but we utilise other halls in the Scout District and utilise Zoom in order to cut down as much travel as possible.

Taster details: We are transforming our volunteer experience and offering a warmer welcome to volunteers with a welcome meeting to share key information and also identify how we can support you within your role too.
