Description

We are looking to expand our language bank to ensure we can make volunteering with us as accessible as possible! This could include joining a 1-hour induction call (online or in-person), or joining the volunteer for their shift. Our inductions and shifts are always led by a trained member of staff / volunteer. There is no weekly commitment required, and we can arrange inductions/shifts to suit yourself and the volunteer.

Organisation aims and objectives

Empty Kitchens Full Hearts aims to relieve poverty in Edinburgh by providing healthy meals and follow-up support to people across the city. All our meals are made from surplus food, are free of charge and served without judgement. Since we began in April 2020,our volunteers have produced, packed and delivered more than 2 million meals to people who need them.
