The volunteer will maintain the grounds at the centre with weeding, planting and harvesting veg in the planters, watering plants and other general garden maintenance. Our lead Garden Volunteer will give tasks to be completed each week. Volunteer times are flexible throughout the week Mon-Fri 9am-4pm.

Bonnie Dundee is looking for volunteers to help make Dundee a greener, cleaner and brighter place for everyone. All are welcome to come and help us with our gardening activities and other tasks. Our volunteers and are involved in a wide range of projects and activities each year. Including tending to over 50 planters, an urban orchard and two gardens in the city centre, plus carrying out litter picks and helping to encourage biodiversity. Those involved aim to improve Dundee’s environment for both residents and visitors alike, providing opportunities for people to get involved and make a difference in their community. Bonnie Dundee has a great sense of community and enthusiasm, welcoming all volunteers regardless of age, experience or ability. To help with general maintenance to keep the hospital garden attractive and tidy. The garden is a quiet space enjoyed by many patients, visitors and staff. Main Tasks:- To respect patient confidentiality. Volunteers will assist with a variety of on-going tasks including, weeding, pruning, watering and planting out flower beds. To comply with the NHS Tayside Policy on Volunteering. Wear ID Badge at all times.

Do you have green fingers, do you enjoy making green spaces neat and tidy. You would be required to cut grass and weed borders, help plant out seasonal plants and sweeping up of leaves and rubbish. We are a children and young people?s project based in East Edinburgh.
