Beloved Rabbits, a dedicated Scottish Rabbit Rescue charity, is seeking passionate and creative individuals to fill the role of Social Media Content Creator Volunteer.

This essential position will contribute to building awareness, promoting rabbit adoptions, and engaging the community through compelling content on various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:
Develop and produce engaging and visually appealing content for Beloved Rabbits' social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
Collaborate on the creation of a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of posts, incorporating awareness campaigns, events, and daily updates.
Caption and Copywriting:
Craft compelling and informative captions to accompany posts, effectively communicating the organization's mission, values, and specific initiatives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent voice and messaging across all platforms.
Engagement and Community Building:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms, fostering positive interactions and building a sense of community.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement creative ideas for community engagement and interaction.
Stay Informed:
Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media content creation and apply relevant strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
Regularly review analytics to assess the performance of content and suggest improvements based on data.
Skills and Qualifications:

Passion for animal welfare, particularly in the rescue and care of rabbits.
Strong written communication skills with a creative flair.
Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and algorithms.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Collaborative mindset with good interpersonal skills.

Contribute to the well-being of rescue rabbits by promoting adoption and awareness.
Showcase and develop creative skills in a non-profit setting.

Location: Remote (Scottish residents preferred)

Time Commitment: Flexible, typically a few hours per week

Organisation aims and objectives

Beloved Rabbits is a registered Scottish Charity devoted to rabbit welfare, providing various services including rescue, rehoming, bonding & care advice. Using Foster Families to care for our rabbits, we also present rabbit welfare demonstrations and classes to schools, and have fundraising and awareness events at many local galas and community events, pet stores and shopping centres.
