Description

Volunteers Needed to Knit Worry Monsters for Local Children
Do you love knitting and want to make a difference in local children's lives? The Archie Foundation Tayside is seeking passionate knitters who can create Worry Monsters. Worry Monsters provide invaluable support to children facing healthcare challenges or coping with bereavement. They serve as a comforting tool for children to express their worries.

How do Worry Monsters work?
A child writes down their worries, then feeds them into the monster's deep mouth, where their concerns are "eaten up." Worry Monsters come in various shapes and sizes, just like us, providing a personalised monster for each child.

If you're interested in knitting a Worry Monster and would like to receive the pattern, please contact us at Jamie-Leigh.Cook@archie.org

Worry Monsters can be dropped off at our Ninewells office. Kindly send us an email beforehand to arrange the drop-off, ensuring someone is available to receive your generous contribution.
