To help plan, co-ordinate and supervise local events/activities

Main tasks:
• To plan and organise opportunities to promote the service, and to raise awareness of the activities
we deliver to support people living with a neurological condition.
• To support DCF administrator to oversee event/activity bookings and promotions, also to monitor
attendance and correspondence.

Organisation aims and objectives

To assist in the rehabilitation of those suffering from Brain Injuries across the length and breadth of the Scottish Borders. We aim to inform, advice and support to enable Service Users to rebuild their lives, be independent and integrate back into society. Most of our work is carried out on a 1-1 basis but we also offer support groups across the Scottish Borders.

Restrictions

• All volunteers will be expected to complete a Scottish Disclosure Check/PVG
Experience required: • Creative • Sociable and approachable • Organisational skills • To be able to take leadership, and to communicate/make new connections/relationships with external organisation/services. • Ability to work well in a team and to be flexible in your approach. • Positive, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Travel details: Galashiels Office and/or other locations across the Scottish Borders
