Description

Do you want to make a difference to premature and sick babies and their families? Join Bliss’ amazing community of volunteers to give vital support to families. Over 6,000 babies are born premature or sick in Scotland every year. Bliss Scotland was established to provide support to those babies and their families’ right across Scotland. Bliss Scotland is part of Bliss, the country’s leading charity for babies born premature or sick.

Our Community Ambassadors are a network of volunteers who help make a difference to babies born premature and sick around the country by raising awareness of Bliss Scotland’s work. Community Ambassadors work to increase the presence of Bliss Scotland in their local community by promoting the work we do to help the thousands of babies born premature or sick every year in Scotland. As a Community Ambassador you would be representing Bliss Scotland to develop relationships with schools, local businesses, community groups and other organisations in your area that are interested in supporting our important work.

This opportunity is also flexible so that anyone can do it (our volunteers can work from home and in their local community). Excellent support and relevant training (we have a Bliss Learning Programme) is provided to all volunteers.

A fantastic opportunity to help and make a real difference. For more details please contact Laura Anne Mackay at email: lauraannemackay@bliss.org.uk or tel.: 07458010318.
