Fresh Community Wellness is a growing grassroots charity, registered Scottish Charity Number, SC051346. We operate out of Aberdeen city, working within a (S.I.M.D) high neighbourhood to create lasting change and build a legacy for the future. Predominantly in Seaton neighbourhoods and outdoors, we work with volunteers/residents, with a salutogenic approach to community wellness. To help with this we have great opportunities and need people to help out as volunteers for a range of roles including: *Food growing, gardeners, greenspace management, tidy ups volunteers. *Mentors, community engagement, events, entertainers (kids, adults, 55+). *Outdoors games & sports volunteers, building outdoor areas for residents (sheltered housing seating), health. *Artists/ Sculptors to begin on our Street Art & Design projects, and sculptures. *Admin, coordinators, team lead volunteers, advisors & support volunteers. *Drop-in café helpers, advisors, cooking assistants. S.H.I.P. provide support to young people with Additional Support Needs from five, through their school years, and beyond. This support is delivered in a variety of ways. We offer weekly Youth Clubs, After School Clubs, Saturday Clubs and Holiday Clubs, where young people can relax and enjoy themselves, whilst developing social and life skills in a safe, fun and friendly environment. We are recruiting volunteers to support our young people by supervising fun and creative activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and in the summer, outdoor activities. You will be working alongside our practitioners to design, deliver and support engagement in fun activities for our young people, working as part of a relaxed and supportive team!

Inclusive Surfing Scotland is a new charity that delivers surfing experiences to children and adults with disabilities that restrict their access to the waves. We are recruiting in-water volunteers to support our surfers in the water, helping to push them into waves, catch them in the shallows and provide support and encouragement throughout. All volunteers will complete our in-house training (an online induction, followed by in-water training) and will be PVG checked. Help make our surfers experience in the waves unforgettable!

The opportunity is for vibrant people who enjoy all that entails working with young people of various backgrounds and for those who are looking for experience within events. Volunteers will assist with the running of events and activities, helping with the set-up, social media and marketing of the events, as well as running activities all day.
