  • VO68968

Description

As one of our Drivers you will drive to and from pre decided outing destinations ensuring a meeting place and time is decided upon with other staff for returning home, ensure the vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times, helping assist the staff members with accompanying guests on to the vehicle and ensuring they are secure and help to carry out safety checks on the vehicle. There will be the chance to assist on various trips as well if you wish and provide feedback any issues i.e suitability of venue or/and vehicle.
Through this opportunity you'll have the chance to meet and work with new people, access training and have the support of a member of the operations team. Your volunteering will be improving the lives of people and their families living with long term conditions as well as being part of a fun, enthusiastic and supportive team.

Organisation aims and objectives

To be the UK's best provider of high quality respite for individuals with high dependency physical conditions. We will continually support guests and their carers to enhance the quality of their life. At Leuchie House, our philosophy is that everyone deserves a decent break, whatever their individual care requirements. There is a country house feel at Leuchie, rather than a clinical atmosphere, with the emphasis on social as well as health care. We do everything we can to ensure guests' preferences are taken into account, as you would expect on any break, and offer physiotherapy and a variety of activities and entertainment throughout your stay
