A fun youth club with lots of activities and crafts. Be part of a sociable team of volunteers.This is a very rewarding opportunity to be part of making a small difference to the young people that attend the youth club.

Role includes being a good listener, working in a team supporting children and young people

Organisation aims and objectives

Philiphaugh junior youth club provides a service for children between the ages of 8-12 years. We run on a thursday night during school term time . We provide a safe environment to socialise with others, play games make crafts .Giving the children opportunities to run their tuck shop and help with the door entry fee










2 1/2 hours per week.


Experience required: Volunteers should be trustworthy, reliable, like children, enthusiastic, friendly, able to adapt to situations, have patience and understanding, empathetic and the ability to give and take instructions.
Travel details: Philiphaugh Junior Youth Club, Selkirk.

Training details: Training is held within the community centre when required.
Support: Wheelchair Access/Disabled Access Toilet
