The Salvation Army is opening a brand new Donation Centre which we hope will become a re-use hub for the local area and beyond. Reducing how much we all send to landfill is so very important and we will offer people a convenient hub to donate items that still have re-use potential. As well as collecting donations we will have a small charity shop. We are looking for someone who loves to engage with people and has an eye for detail to help maintain our shop and till areas and serve customers.
We’re a centre promoting re-use and recycling of fabrics, hardware and furniture. We aim to further the work of the Salvation Army through supporting their shops. As a voluntary organisation we offer meaningful volunteering experiences listening to what our volunteers are looking for and meeting those needs.
