Description

As part of the Fife Furniture Project, volunteers will work with an experienced volunteer who will ensure that all the deliveries and collections are carried out daily to the requirements of the organisation; to ensure that goods are delivered to the warehouse and safely stored; carry out deliveries and collections with support from the driver's mate.

Organisation aims and objectives

The Fife Furniture Project exists to support people who have been homeless or are in need. Volunteers collect and deliver furniture to those in need across Fife. All donations come from the public.

Minimum 4 hours per day as and when needed.

Restrictions

Age limits for insurance purposes.
Experience required: Clean, full driving licence. Experience of delivering furniture. Reliable, friendly and interested in reducing poverty.
Travel details: The opportunity takes place across Fife as required. Volunteers will be picked up from a local point to them or from the Main Street, Kingseat.
Minimum age: 23

Support

Taster available: Yes
Taster details: A Taster will be provided followed by trial period.
Training details: The volunteer will be assisted by an experienced volunteer.
