Massage Therapist Volunteers

  • VO68638

Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, life-limiting, genetically inherited condition with no cure. We are the leading provider of social support to the Cystic Fibrosis community of Scotland, providing face-to-face services for individuals and families, and access to the support needed to ensure they benefit from optimum homecare and enjoy the best quality of life.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference to the life of someone else. This role offers an opportunity for working in a hospital environment for someone with a diploma in Swedish massage therapy. The massage therapy service is offered for young adults (16+) during hospital admissions. This professional service is highly regarded by both clients and the medical professionals who care for them. Many of these young people are far from home in these centres and the therapist provides much appreciated social contact in addition to the benefits of the massage.

A great opportunity to make a real difference for people. For more details please contact Dr Miles Tew at E Mail: or tel: 07712 606891.
