We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.
Please note, organisations are currently experiencing a large volume of enquiries from people looking to help out. They may not always be able to meet this demand so please be patient, you may not receive a quick response or be assigned to a role.
Our busy café is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 10 am – 2 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 1 pm and we’re looking for volunteers to work alongside the management committee and staff members to run the café and serve the community. There are opportunities to learn new skills in food preparation, serving customers, working on the till and clearing tables etc. Volunteers will be trained in safe practice and will gain knowledge in good customer service and safe food practice. We are a very warm and welcoming team and enjoy having a good laugh whilst making the Café a successful venture.
A fantastic, enjoyable opportunity where you will make a real difference in the community. All volunteers are greatly appreciated.
