Sunday Retail Volunteer - Key Holder

Description

Sunday Key Holder Volunteers would be in charge of opening and running the store unsupervised on Sundays. They would also cash up and lock up the store at the end of the day. Duties would be cleaning, sorting donations, topping up shelves, serving customers and answering telephone.

By working with and for Debra we aim to make a positive difference to people living with EB, work together to achieve our purpose of providing care and curing EB, be passionate about what we do with Debra and strive for excellence in all our activities.

Restrictions

There are age restrictions for insurance reasons.
Experience required: Retail experience would help but is not needed.
Travel details: Debra Charity Shop, Unit 4-5, Westbourne Centre, Barrhead, G78 1LR.
Minimum age: 16

Expenses details: Public transport rates on submission of receipts for Sunday Key Volunteers only. (NOTE for support options: wheelchair access but not wheelchair accessible toilets.
Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Volunteers can do 2 taster days before going forward to key holding.
Training details: Everyone gets H&S induction on first day. There is training workbooks to work through with certificate at the end.
