Description

Customer Service Assistant required for PDSA shop in Galashiels.

Duties include:

Acknowledge and greet customers on the shop floor.
Be responsible for processing cash and card payments.
Advise and assist customer on their purchases whilst promoting sales opportunities.
Assist the manager in ensuring shop and cash security.
Check all public areas are clean and safe, and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.
Receive and acknowledge customer donations.
Compliance with our policies and procedures including health and safety and data protection.

Restrictions

Experience required: Possess or desire to develop strong customer service skills. Security conscious and confident in handling cash. Good team player with friendly and engaging personality. A desire to be the public face of PDSA. Able to listen and take direction. Reliable, conscientious and proactive. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Enjoy being in a fast paced environment.
