This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role as part of the shop team volunteers. Working in a friendly atmosphere while providing an extremely useful and appreciated role. The role includes sorting stock, hanging and ticketing stock, steaming stock, ticketing bric-a –brac, pricing books and help keep the stock room clean and tidy.
To encourage those who have had a stroke, particularly those with communication problems, to regain maximum independance in the community, enhance their quality of life, build up confidence and widen social horizons. Also, to encourage and support their families and carers.
Experience required: No specific skills.

Expenses details: 0.45 pence per mile by cheque, cash or BACS payment, payable weekly, fortnightly, monthly depending on individual circumstances.
Training details: CHSS has robust induction, training and support mechanisms in place and has the IiV award.
