As a trustee you will help support the strategic development of PEP ensure that it continues to thrive and develop for another 30 years. Trustees work with staff team to maintain high quality services, exploit new opportunities, and ensure that PEP continues to be well run and successful. You don’t need special skills to be a trustee. You do need to want to make a real difference to local people. PEP welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds and life experiences.
To enhance the quality of life for older people in North Edinburgh by continuing to develop services that measurably reduce isolation and which enable people and other vulnerable and isolated adults to actively participate in community life.

Trustees meet once a month for 2 hours typically on zoom. Trustees may be asked to take part in sub committees in addition to regular board meetings.
Experience required: We welcome people of all backgrounds and life experiences. Most important is willingness to take part in discussions, think creatively, work as a team and help make informed decisions to ensure PEP’s continued success. Full induction on the role, responsibilities, and liabilities of being a trustee will be given.
