Intandem Mentor

  • VO67581

Description

Intandem mentors will build a trusting relationship with the young person through weekly meetings, providing a positive role model and supporting access to hobbies and interests. The young people involved face some of the least positive outcomes in life. The ability to be consistent, non-judgemental, supportive, fun and understanding is key to helping these young people. We look for a regular commitment to meeting with the young person to motivate them to succeed in life.

Organisation aims and objectives

To provide local children, young people, women and families with a flexible programme of appropriate activities in a safe and welcoming Christian environment, which enables their personal growth, spiritual development, and involvement in the wider community". We do this through a very full weekly programme.
