Description

Volunteer who is experienced in growing fruit and veg to help develop the community kitchen garden. Potential for expansion. Training and food provided. For more information they would need to get in touch with the manager. Tasks include growing food, fruit and veg on raised beds, working with other volunteers, overseeing food growing and laising with chef and manager of the centre.

The Community Alliance Trust is a community-led organisation which exist to benefit the community of the Greater Craigmillar area of Edinburgh fallowing the principles of sustainable development. It does this by: Developing community assets and new social enterprise initiatives in the local community, Taking their lead from the community in planning and implementing their projects.
