We are one of the largest independent advocacy organisations in Scotland with 23 committed staff and 3 office bases across Scotland and have contracts with a number of local authorities to support vulnerable groups. Organisation aims and objectives

Partners in Advocacy aims to inform, empower and uphold the human rights of children, young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities, mental health conditions or who, for any other reason require advocacy services.

Restrictions

Experience required: We are looking for a trustee who is a HR professional, and who is sensitive to the needs of disadvantaged people, enthusiastic, can think strategically and work with others in a team. In return, we can offer the satisfaction of helping fellow citizens to overcome barriers in their lives.
Travel details: The bi-monthly meetings are held at our Offices in Edinburgh, starting at 17.30 and ending at 20:00 hours. Dates are set well in advance. Reasonable travel costs are covered. Reasonable travel costs are covered
