Description

McKenzie Friends Management Committee is the driving force behind McKenzie Friends, which is an exciting new service requiring positive leadership to access to civil justice and the advancement of public legal education.
Committee plays a crucial role in developing an enduring strategy. Working jointly with the Trustees, members will create and implement a long term budget and business plan. Keen administration and financial management skills with a commitment to fairness and justice will ensure the organisation complies with regulatory requirements and the Law. As the public face of McKenzie Friends, they will be ambassadors, sharing experiences to build solid relationships with stakeholders in Government, Judiciary, Media, Business and Academia.
They will play a key role in engaging and motivating VOLUNTEERS, beneficiaries and prospective donors, create / maintain a social media platform.
Committee members will find the opportunity provides an impressive mix of stimulating challenges in providing the practical, moral and emotional support for clients seeking solutions to their unmet legal needs. They will also seek to develop social enterprise 'spin-offs' to assist the organisation to build sustainable revenue streams securing its long term financial viability.
